The short answer

Memphis Air Care designs and installs commercial HVAC for ground-up builds and tenant build-outs, and self-performs the gas piping and electrical that go with it. We work with general contractors, developers, and restaurant operators across Memphis and DeSoto County on plan-and-spec bids or full design-build.

A rooftop unit set by helicopter

Setting a rooftop unit on a downtown deck sometimes means closing the street and flying it in. Our crew was on the roof to land it, set it, and tie it into the mechanical, refrigeration, gas and electrical it runs on, in-house from start to commissioning.

Questions

Do you do design-build or plan-and-spec?

Both. We bid plan-and-spec projects and offer full design-build, with load calculations, duct design, and equipment selection done in-house.

Do you self-perform the electrical and gas?

Yes. We hold Mississippi mechanical (#24339-SC) and electrical (#26772-MC) licenses and are licensed in Tennessee, so the HVAC, gas piping, and equipment circuits are done by one crew.

Can you handle a full restaurant build-out?

Yes. We coordinate HVAC, make-up air, exhaust hoods, refrigeration, walk-ins, and gas piping as one system, so the kitchen goes to health and fire inspection together.

What do we get at closeout?

Startup, balancing, and commissioning, plus as-builts and owner training.
